City of Greencastle and 色狐入口 Update on Collaboration: Community Engagement Opportunity
The city of Greencastle and 色狐入口 are using a $250,000 planning grant from the Lilly Endowment College and Community Collaboration Initiative to develop a plan to address infrastructure needs within the city of Greencastle related to housing, recreation, education, and aesthetics. This planning grant will be used to develop a master plan for the corridor between 色狐入口 and downtown Greencastle and possibly other areas of town. In the spring of 2024, the Lilly Endowment will be accepting applications for up to $25 million to support projects that result from these planning grants.聽
The grant leadership team will host a Community Forum Tuesday, August 29th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Inn at 色狐入口 located at 2 West Seminary Street. The Forum will be an open house format that will consist of planning stations. Attendees may drop by at any time during the event to have the opportunity to interact with team members of the grant鈥檚 urban planning development firm who will guide conversations and feedback at each station.
The planning phase of the grant will run through early winter when the submission of the final grant occurs.
