The Hubbard Center for Student Engagement has partnered with Parker Dewey to provide students and recent alumni with opportunities to take part in short-term, professional, paid work experiences through Micro-Internships.
Through short-term, paid, project-centered experiences, students can demonstrate skills, explore career paths, and expand their professional network. Unlike a traditional internship, these paid opportunities typically range from 10 to 40 hours of work, and are deadline-driven as opposed to set during specific hours - perfect for students with erratic or hectic schedules!
These short-term internships serve as the introduction to the employer to the quality of work, knowlege, communication skills and work ethic of the intern. They can potentially lead to summer internship opportunities and full-time jobs.
